Communist Party of Greece

Dear comrades

At a moment in which the Greek workers and people, with the decisive contribution of the CPG, are engaged in a struggle of great mass dimension and of great political significance and importance, we wish to express the Portuguese communists fraternal solidarity.

Your courageous struggle against the unrelenting measures of the forces of the big capital represents a stimulus for the struggle which we wage, in Portugal, to defend the social and democratic achievements enshrined in our Constitution and to defeat the Aggression Pact which is imposing a terrible social regression upon the Portuguese people and compromising our national sovereignty.

We wish the greatest success to your struggle.
