Nordkorea: Ergebnisse der Parteikonferenz. Kein Machtwechsel.
Die von den westlichen Medien gestreuten Gerüchte über einen angeblich bevorstehenden Machtwechsel in der DVRK sind falsch. Partei- und Staatschef Kim Jong Il wurde in seinen Ämtern bestätigt. Die Konferenz wählte die Führungsgremien der Partei der Arbeit neu, ohne spektakuläre personalpolitische Umbrüche.

Neben den Personalentscheidungen scheint der wichtigste Konferenzinhalt eine Statutenänderung der Partei gewesen zu sein. KCNA bringt dazu eine gesonderte Meldung. Die entscheidende Stelle ist wohl diese:
"New chapters "The Party and the People's Power" and "The Party Logo and Flag of the Party" are added to the party rules and the need to strengthen the party's leadership over the people's power and the youth league and enhance the role of party organizations in the People's Army is supplemented to them to meet the above-said requirement." KCNA bringt die Namen der in die verschiedenen Partegremien gewählten Funktionäre. Sie sagen dem westlichen Medienkonsumenten natürlich nichts. Ich bringe sie trotzdem, auch weil allein schon die Struktur der Parteiführung und die Verschiedenheit ihrer Gremien einen Eindruck davon vermittelt, dass es in Nordkorea nicht nur einen Politiker plus seinem Sohn gibt. Der Sohn kommt in zwei Gremien vor: dem Zentralkomitee und der Militärkommission.
In den obersten Führungsgremien der Partei - dem Politbüro, dessen Sekretariat und wiederum des Präsidium ist er nicht vertreten.
